Delete Your Account and Data

Delete your account in the app (fastest)

1. Sign in to DoorWorth and open Settings.
2. Choose Delete account…
3. Confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

This permanently deletes your account and all of your data — properties, payment records kept in DoorWorth, receipts, documents, photos, bank connections and their access tokens, and your tenants' portal links. There is no undo.

Or request deletion by email

Email doorworthapp@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my DoorWorth account." Send the request from the email address on the account so we can verify it's you. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

Tenant portal users may use the same email process to request deletion of their portal account.

Delete some data without closing your account

You don't have to delete your account to delete data. Most records — properties, receipts, photos, documents, and bank connections — can be deleted directly inside the app at any time, and removing a bank connection also deletes its access token. You can also email us (same address and verification as above) to request deletion of specific data without closing the account.

What is deleted, and what may be retained

• Deleted: your account, profile, properties, tenants and portal links, financial records kept in DoorWorth, uploaded photos, documents and files, and bank-sync connections and tokens.
• Retained where required: records of payments processed through our payment providers (for example Stripe) are kept by those providers as required for financial and legal compliance. We never store bank login credentials or Social Security Numbers, so there are none to delete.
• Executed lease agreements: once a lease is fully signed by everyone through DoorWorth's e-signing feature, the signed document and its signing record are kept so the other party to that lease keeps a valid copy. Deleting your account removes your own contact email from that record; your name and signature stay, because a signed lease can't be rewritten after the fact without breaking the record's integrity for everyone who relied on it.
